This book is going to be different than all the other articles or books that you have read. It will challenge some of the most common advice that is given to dog owners. After observing dogs for thirty years, I am amazed at some of the ridiculous suggestions that are given to dog owners. Most of the advice is in black and white. Never do this or always do that.

I hope to bring to you a dog's perspective and be able to show you how to have fun with your dog without bringing out any bad habits. I am going to show you what type of biting can be okay, when a dog should not be allowed to kiss you and why you can play tug of war with your dog without bringing out unwanted behaviors. In my training theory, contrary to most training theories, my dog is my equal. My dog does not have to be subservient to me.

Since we are not asking the dog to submit to a person, even a six-year old child can walk your dog after you have shaped your dog's thought process.
